Plantations & Private Properties
At Tarrington Firewood, we offer farmers and private land owners the opportunity to enter into agreements where they receive a percentage of the revenue generated from the sale of firewood harvested from their properties. This arrangement provides farmers with a passive income stream while allowing us to manage the harvesting and processing of the timber.
1
How It Works
-
Agreement Terms: We establish a mutually beneficial agreement with the landowner, specifying the percentage of revenue they will receive from the sale of firewood harvested from their land.

-
Harvesting and Processing: Our team handles all aspects of the harvesting and processing of the timber, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and sustainable forestry practices.

-
Revenue Sharing: The agreed-upon percentage of the revenue is paid to the landowner, providing them with a consistent income without the need for active involvement in the timber sales process.
2
Work Cover
At Tarrington Firewood, we prioritize safety and professionalism in all our operations. Our team is fully covered under WorkCover insurance, ensuring that any accidents or liabilities arising from our activities on your property are managed appropriately. This coverage is in line with the requirements set by WorkSafe Victoria.

Additionally, all members of our team hold the necessary certifications, tickets and licenses and have undergone comprehensive training specific to firewood harvesting and processing. This ensures that we operate safely and efficiently, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Post Harvest Site Clean Up
Upon finishing our work, we take the following steps to ensure your property is thoroughly cleaned:

-
Burn Pile Consolidation: We gather and consolidate all remaining branches, twigs, and other debris into designated burn piles. This not only tidies the area but also prepares the site for safe and efficient burning at a later time.

-
Debris Removal: All non-combustible materials, such as metal, plastic, and other waste, are carefully removed from the site to prevent contamination and maintain the land's integrity.

-
Final Inspection: A thorough inspection is conducted to ensure that all areas are cleaned, and no equipment or materials are left behind.
